Continuing Education Information

This program  is co-sponsored  by the Alabama Council Behavioral Healthcare and  The Institute for Continuing Education.   The program offers  6.00 contact hours, with full attendance required.   There is no additional fee to apply for continuing education credit.

NOTE:  To receive continuing education credit, applicants must complete all applicable CE materials and comply with attendance monitoring regulations.  

NOTE:  It is the responsibility of the attendee to determine if CE credit offered by The Institute for Continuing Education meets the regulations of their state licensing/certification board for “ethics” hours.  

Psychology:  The Institute for Continuing Education is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists.  The Institute for Continuing Education maintains responsibility for this program and its content.

Counseling / MFT:   For counselors and MFTs seeking CE credit, The Institute for Continuing Education has submitted this program to the National Board for Certified Counselors for approval.  This website will be updated to reflect accreditation.

Social Work: The Institute for Continuing Education is approved as a provider of continuing education in social work by the Alabama Board Social Worker Examiners, Provider 0171, expiration 6/30/2026.
